Little J

Last month, my sisters and I spent part of an afternoon with a friend of ours and her 7 month old son.  We had a picnic lunch at the Munsinger and Clemens gardens in St. Cloud and then walked around and enjoyed the beautiful flowers together while we continued to visit.  I'll be sharing some flower photos I took there in a future post, but right now I want to share with you some of the photos I took of my friend's baby boy!
 I love close-ups of babies! :)
"For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them."
~Psalm 139:13-16~
Before saying goodbye, we had an impromptu photo shoot. :)
I had so much fun taking pictures of this sweet little guy!
 Seriously looking at my camera.

 Oh, the wonders of grass!

 Isn't he sooo cute?!

This is one of my favorite shots from the afternoon.
His lovely mother is in the background. :)

Running Wild Trail Run

Last month, I was one of the volunteer photographers at the Running Wild Trail Run in the beautiful Maplewood State Park.  It was a fundraiser for the Health Resources Center (pregnancy resource center). I had a blast taking photos.  Here are a few of the over one thousand I took that day.

 Praying before the race begins.

 7K runners ready to start.

And the 1 mile runners are off!

Ana and cute little Quinn watching the race. :)

The one mile runners getting close to the finish line!

It was fun to see a couple young families doing it together.

The first 7K runner to get to the finish line!

 Some of the onlookers.

Cheering their friends on!

Unique socks a volunteer was wearing. :)

 Announcing the winners!

A cute boy and a caterpillar he found. :)

Signatures of all the runners and volunteers at this event!

After the event was done, we girls went for a hike up one of the trails in Maplewood.  This is the view we enjoyed at the top.

 My beautiful sisters. :)

We had a great day volunteering!
God blessed the event with perfect weather.
