About Amy

I am a 33 year old who loves capturing God's amazing creation with the camera.

Growing up, my mom was always encouraging my sisters and I to be creative.  She taught us and some friends drawing lessons at a homeschool co-op.  She pointed out things about God's creation that some don't notice with just a causal glance.  The trees and the grass are green, ah, but there are many different shades of green.  And there are shades of blue in the snow that we tend to think is all white.  So I grew up doing some drawing, but it wasn't a big interest of mine although I was grateful to learn the basics.

In the last several years, I have grown to absolutely love photography.  As in drawing, looking through the lens of a camera has caused me to notice the little things in God's creation that I might not have noticed otherwise.

I'm also glad for the photography tips from a friend of ours who was almost like a grandpa to us. He was a photographer in the front lines during the Vietnam war.  He has passed on from this life, but what he taught us about photography has stayed with me.   And he always encouraged us to take LOTS of pictures!

I desire to use this love and gift that God has given me to bless others and bring glory to my wonderful Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Many Blessings!
~Amy
